Reading manga is one of my favorite activities, and many volumes have inspired me to pursue my own renditions of fan art. I drew this piece in Adobe Photoshop around the time when Monkey D. Luffy of One Piece unlocked a new form that took the manga community by storm. I also enjoyed adding a graphic design touch to it with the layering of typography in the background.
